HANNA NUTTMAN PARK

The land now known as Hanna Nuttman Park was given to the City in 1932 to be used for the enjoyment of all residents. Over the past 60 years, Hanna Nuttman Park has been a special place for children, families, and the community to come together and enjoy the sports of baseball and softball in a way that is engaging, exciting, and fun.

Throughout it’s long history, Hanna Nuttman Park has been operated by local volunteers, dedicated to providing any child with a fun and engaging youth sports environment. More importantly, the park has given each child the opportunity to experience and benefit from the life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie that are the cornerstones of youth sports today.

Currently, Hanna Nuttman Park is no longer being used for little league baseball as the conditions are no longer suitable for games. While youth baseball games are no longer played here, Hanna Nuttman is still home to youth softball, creating conflict with families who have children involved in both sports. The new park layout not only improves diamond conditions and sports facilities, but it also addresses pedestrian safety, park access, improved parking, and drainage concerns.

It takes teamwork to build a community, which is why we're asking you to help us reach our goal of raising $1 million by 2019 to ensure future generations of children have access to a park we can all be proud of.
