This year also marked CHC's 25th anniversary, a milestone made meaningful by the collective efforts of our borrowers, partners, board members, and staff working together to expand access to safe, stable, and affordable homes nationwide.

Despite ongoing headwinds facing CDFIs and housing organizations, our network continues to show what’s possible through collaboration, determination, and shared purpose. We remain committed to delivering flexible, mission-driven capital where it’s needed most.

Notice anything different?? 👀 Say hello to our refreshed logo!

Today we are excited to share Community Housing Capital, Inc.’s refreshed logo. As we continue commemorating 25 years of impact, we’re proud to introduce our new look, reflecting both where we’ve been and where we’re going.

The updated design sharpens and modernizes our visual identity while honoring the story we’ve always told: that our financing is often the missing piece for a developer - when the plans are drawn, the team is in place, and the tools are ready, but the project needs our capital to move forward. The final piece needed to complete the picture and make affordable housing possible.

The puzzle house in our logo reflects what’s possible because of that capital: a completed home, a realized community investment, a step toward fulfilling the ongoing promise of our work. That is, a future where affordable housing serves as a foundation for strong, stable, and thriving communities.

You’ll begin to see this updated logo across our communications and materials in the months ahead. We’re proud to carry our mission forward with a look that honors both our history and our future.

Community Housing Capital is excited to announce the appointment of Lisa Getter as its Chief Operations Officer (COO)!

As COO, Lisa will oversee CHC’s operations and compliance while strengthening our mission through the management of capital, systems, people, and processes.

Lisa brings more than 25 years of experience in affordable housing finance, combining expertise in capital management, operations, and corporate philanthropy. Most recently at NeighborWorks America, she led national efforts to align capital and technical resources with the housing needs of communities across the country.

Lisa joins CHC at a pivotal moment, bringing leadership and expertise that will help shape our next chapter. Please join us in celebrating this exciting appointment.

Exploring Innovation & Preservation in Brownsville, TX! 🏗️

Our team had the opportunity to visit cdcb in Brownsville, Texas, where we toured both their Samano historic redevelopment project and manufacturing site known as “the farm.”

At Samano, we saw firsthand how a historic building is being transformed into a mixed-use development with retail and office space, along with 40-units of permanent supportive housing.

Next, we visited the site where DreamBuild modular homes are built. We learned about their innovative approach to scalable, flexible housing solutions. Their expansion plans include adding a second steel cover to protect homes during production.

A huge thank you to the come dream. come build. team for an insightful tour and for their dedication to advancing housing solutions in the community! We’re excited to see these projects come to life.
