Meeting with legislators that represent us, both personally and the credit union, is very important. Ann and Carol spent the day Tuesday with other credit union peers discussing credit union interests for the benefit of UECU members. REPEAL IFPA.

EVERYONE needs to understand what this new law is and how you may be affected. This needs to be repealed!

I know a lot of people are talking about the Interchange Fee Prohibition Act right now.

When this legislation came before the Senate, I voted NO because of concerns about how it could impact everyday transactions, create confusion at checkout, and potentially affect tipped workers and small businesses.

Illinois needs policies that solve problems, not create new ones. I will continue to keep a close eye on the ongoing court case and what it means for the law’s implementation.
