After 16 amazing years of dedication, hard work, and countless laughs, Our Wonderful Carol Hallman is officially RETIRING.

Carol, you have been the absolute heartbeat of our team. From your incredible work ethic to your endless positivity, you have left a lasting mark on all of us and this Agency. I cannot thank you enough for your years of service and loyalty. While we will miss you immensely around here, we are so incredibly 😍excited for you to start the next chapter. May your retirement be filled with Relaxation, Adventures and well-deserved Sleep-Ins.

It's finally Friday.....and Baby it's HOT🥵 outside!! Between the temperature, humidity and heat index......I don't even want to look outside let alone venture out!!

Have you ever bought a Universal Remote that didn't work??🤪🤯 Well, I have. It has been a few years ago ...and while it turned out that it simply wasn't manufactured correctly.....yes, I took it apart.....🐱...you get it ...right?? Not everything can be ' universally' remoted( I don't think that is a word, but I am using it anyways!)

Todays' Universal Remotes are designed with better components and I have yet ti purchase one that didn't work.....however, I have recently discovered that no matter how much I try....it will not change the weather!! 🤣

Life is busy.....is one of the greatest understatements ever written! 😅 It becomes all the more complicated when both parents work....a normal in today's society....plus your children's activities.....school functions, church functions and....the list goes on!

Your first step to simplifying your life..... find a great organization system!!🤓
Pairing and sharing a Google Calendar or using an app, along with a visual color-coding system and a weekly family meeting for reveiws can be very helpful.....especially with teenage children!

🟥CHOOSING YOUR SYSTEM:
🔺COZI FAMILY ORGANIZER: Color-coded shared calendar, shopping lists, and meal planner.
🔺TIME TREE: Shared calendar with built-in chat for each specific event.
🔺FAMILY WALL: Calendar tracking, to-dos, and real-time family member location finder.
🔺GOOGLE CALENDAR: Free cross-platform event sharing and reminders.
🔺APPLE CALENDAR: Built-in iCloud sharing for Apple users

First step with this process is to Sync your phones to allow push notifications to keep everyone informed as schedules are often subject to change.

🟥MULTI- PROCESS APPROACH:
Everyone learns differently, so using a multi-process approach ensures that everyone stays informed.
🔺WALL BOARDS: Hang a large erasable whiteboard or a giant paper wall planneri a central location, the the kitchen is a great place where everyone congregates at some stage during the day.
🔺COLOR-CODING AND RULISE ASSIGNMENT: Give each family member or event type (sports, school, work) gets a unique color or digital color tag.
🔺ONE SOURCE OF TRUTH: Setting rules for your calendars is important. Such as, if an event is not on the central calendar, it does not exist!🧐
🔺FAST ENTRY: Make a point to immediately add new events. Either from your phone or snap photos of school permission slips into your shared family folder.

🟥WEEKLY HABITS
🔺SUNDAY REVIEW: 5 Mintues every weekend to discuss the upcoming weekly events, will ensure everyone is on the same page.
🔺SCHEDULE 'DOWN TIME'! Intentionally scheduling down time, will ensure that every family member is getting the proper rest and avoides burn out!

Over time, you may need to make adjustments, but that is part of the process in figuing out what works best for everyone!!

During the entire month of August, we want to focus on self-care, reducing stress and creating healthier habits during National Wellness Month!

The key to remember: While we are busy building our careers, raising a family, furthering our education, participating in our communities and creating new products and ideas....we must also remember to take care of our own health and nurture our bodies!

It is way, too easy....to put our own health on a back burner and forget the importance of taking care of ourselves. Not only is your health important, but your happiness is also an important factor to keep in mind! Research has shown self-care can help increase happiness by up to 71% when we manage our stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

FIVE LITTLE STEPS TO START:
