Student Loan Borrowers!

In late February the Supreme Court began hearing arguments for Federal student loan relief. There have been 2 major developments regarding borrowers:

1. Proposed IDR changes for REPAYE: The proposed reform could cut student loan payments in half and shorten the timeline for forgiveness.

2. One-time account adjustment: for FFEL, HEAL, and Perkins loan holders must apply for a Direct Consolidation loan by end of 2023.

So, what do we do in times with high interest rates? Answer: Don't sit on your hands! It is a great time with the final pause on student loan payments to build a plan on how/what/when to start building re-payment options within your financial plan.
