What is Universal Life Insurance?

Universal Life Insurance is a flexible coverage and cost policy that accumulates cash value over time.

Example:
If you have a Universal policy with the coverage amount of $50,000 for the cost $60 a month. Then you decide that you want increase your amount of coverage, you may do so without starting a new policy (as long as the Insurance company still views you as in good health). Your cost then will adjust accordingly. You may decrease you coverage at any time as well, with no problems, and your cost will also adjust accordingly.

What is Term Insurance?

Term Insurance is life insurance that provides coverage at a fixed rate for a limited amount of time. Term Insurance comes in different allotted time increments, which are 1 year, 5 year, 10 year, 20 year, and 30 year.

Example:
If you do a 5 year term, at the cost of $20 a month for $100,000 in coverage, That $20 a month will be locked in for 5 years. Which means on the start of the 6th year cost will increase to $50 a month for the next 5 years. Which will also increase again on the start of the 11th year and your increase could be anywhere from double to 5 times the amount every time your allotted time frame is up.
