Broward Symphonic Band - Davie, Florida The purpose of the Broward Symphonic Band is to enrich the culture of the community, and to provide Course code: MUN 1180.

The purpose of the Broward Symphonic Band is to enrich the culture of the community, and to provide opportunities for musical expression, enjoyment, and education for band members. We usually perform four concerts between October and May in the beautiful newly renovated Bailey Concert Hall. MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to adult musicians in the community, Broward College students, other college s

tudents, and high school students recommended to the band by their music directors. Members may register for the community band course since the band is affiliated with Broward College and may be taken as a course for 1 credit hour. High school students are welcome to join the group, but must commit to all rehearsals and concerts in order to earn Community Service Hours. If you are interested in joining the band for college credit, please contact the Music Office on the Broward College - Davie Campus, Building 4, Room 130,
