As summer begins to wind down, many of us are using those last vacation days and PTO—traveling, spending time with family and friends, reconnecting, and simply taking a much-needed break. ☀️❤️
I recently had the opportunity to do the same by returning to Ecuador and spending time with family. But I also wanted to make room during my trip for something that has become very meaningful to me: giving back.
Two months ago, I shared my experience visiting a remote community in Ecuador's Amazon region, where we delivered gently used clothing, candy, and other items to local families and children.
During this most recent trip, we had another opportunity to give back—and once again, I was reminded of how much even a small gesture can mean. 🇪🇨❤️
Travel gives us an opportunity to reconnect with the people we love, experience different places, recharge, and create memories. But sometimes, it can also give us an opportunity to leave a little something behind for someone else.
Through ZilRoma Solutions LLC and ZilRoma Press, we continue to dedicate a portion of the proceeds from our tax services, fractional CFO engagements, consulting work, and book sales toward community outreach efforts like these.
This time, I'd also like to invite others to join us.
For our next outreach effort in Ecuador, my hope is to reach even more families and children in communities where resources can be limited.
