In 1978, a young family arrived in Davenport during an ice storm. Fr. Kenny Martin warmly welcomed them and told them their children could attend JFK school with no set tuition — thanks to the generosity of founding parishioners. Then he said: “Pay it forward when you have the chance.”

Decades later, they’re still doing exactly that through the OLV Foundation. Their gifts are held in perpetuity — only the interest is used — ensuring our church and school thrive for future generations.

Thank you to everyone who came to the annual Harvest Day Dinner! Special thanks to St. Ambrose University for providing the entertainment!

A handicap accessible door has been added to the west entrance of the church thanks to funds received from the foundation. This will allow those to enter without someone holding the door. Perfect for the those who need the extra help, and for pallbearers assisting with funerals.
