This Friday I’ll be on-site with The Key Team at Goode Realty at the Pinehurst subdivision in Mobile from 12-2 for a Brokers Open House to give market feedback and answer questions face-to-face.

This is a great opportunity for Realtors to see four different homes on the market, AND to give and receive feedback to other brokers based on your search and your buyers’ needs!

This event is for realtors only and not open to the general public.

Last weekend we visited the brand new French Hermit Oysters Farm Store on their soft opening in Ocean Springs. This weekend, we came back with friends.

The "farm store" is a wonderful retail shop for farm-to-table Mississippi Oysters -- but there's more. On the porch out back you can shuck your own oysters on the spot with shucking machines and hands on instruction from the staff. They also offer local beer and cocktails and standard accoutrement (horseradish, coctail sauce, lemon, hot sauce, saltines). There's even a grill for chargrill-your-own oysters, with butter sauce, breadcrumbs, and cheese available for purchase.

Greg and the staff waited on us hand and foot. Couldn't recommend it enough. $1 oysters farm raised off Deer Island, harvested the day before? Can't beat it.

Story time!

10 months ago one of our agents was in a bind and took their German auto to several local shops in Baldwin County and was met with a staggering estimate for engine repair, including expensive replacement parts.

Determined, they took to the internet and through word-of-mouth recommendations, found Trevor Wagner of Blitzkrieg German Auto Repair. Trevor promised the repairs could likely be made at little cost without the need for any major part replacement. Trevor and his team came through, making the haul to Kennesaw, Georgia, more than worth the trip, and saving thousands of dollars in the process.

At the time, Trevor agreed to let Beacon review his insurance at renewal. He made good on that promise too. We shopped his coverage and slashed his liability rates and increased his coverage limits with a beautiful Travelers BOP policy. I'm grateful for his trust and glad to have him as a partner this year.

Trevor is a killer technician but also a whip smart entrepreneur with his wife as his business partner and a savvy crew in the garage. Call him with a question, call him for a quote. You won't be disappointed.
