The SSIU team was in Biloxi, Mississippi last week for the 2026 Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi & Big I Louisiana Young Agents Conference at the Beau Rivage! 🎲

Between connecting with longtime agency partners, meeting new faces, and taking part in the tradeshow, it was a great opportunity to spend time with agents and industry professionals from across Mississippi and Louisiana.

Whether you stopped by our booth to catch up or we had the chance to connect for the first time, we’re thankful for the conversations and connections made throughout the week. Building strong relationships with our agency partners is a big part of what we do, and we always appreciate the opportunity to connect face-to-face.

We believe teachers deserve to be celebrated! 🍎📚

One of our amazing agency partners recently held a teacher appreciation contest recognizing local educators who go above and beyond. We wanted to join in on the celebration, so SSIU is sending a $30 gift card to each nominated teacher as a small thank-you for all they do.

We’re incredibly grateful for the teachers who show up every day to inspire, encourage, and help the next generation thrive. We hope this small gift brings a little extra joy to their classrooms and serves as a reminder of just how appreciated they are.

Our support for educators doesn’t stop there! SSIU also offers teacher discounts on eligible policies as another way we can show our appreciation throughout the year.
