Yesterday, the Mobile Chamber hosted a luncheon to honor the 2024 Small Business of the Year finalists and announce the winner. We were proud to join The Barkin Family Fund as sponsors of this prestigious award, celebrating the backbone of our economy—small businesses.

Thursday, members of team Stoic had the privilege of attending the Chasing Greatness: Bet on You conference hosted by 68 Ventures at the beautiful Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa, Autograph Collection in Point Clear. The theme, inspired by Stephen Schwarzman's powerful words, encouraged us to embrace boldness:

"To be successful, you have to put yourself in situations and places you have no right being in. You shake your head and learn from your own stupidity. But through sheer will, you wear the world down, and it gives you what you want."

We walked away inspired and ready to "get into the rooms we're not supposed to be in." A huge thank you to Nathan Cox and the entire 68 Ventures team for curating such a motivational event and bringing together incredible speakers who shared their wisdom and stories. The energy, insight, and encouragement from this conference will stay with us as we continue chasing greatness in our own ventures. 🙌
