Landmark Credit Union Landmark Credit Union is a full service, non-profit financial organization dedicated to serving our members. Originally chartered in 1935 as the V.A. Fairchild.

Credit Union, our first office was located on the hospital grounds to specifically serve the employees of the V.A. Hospital in Danville. In the early 1980's, several smaller credit unions merged with us and, in 1986, the credit union was granted a community charter so that we could serve other residents of the immediate Danville area. Our office was then relocated to its present location at 506 W.

In 1988, our name was changed from the V.A. Credit Union to Landmark Credit Union. In 2003, we merged with Westville Community Federal Credit Union and now have a branch location at 220 S State Street in Westville, IL. Today we serve approximately 9000 members.

🚨 SCAM ALERT!

Landmark Credit Union is cautioning members regarding another phone number spoofing scam. We have received several reports about a spoofing attempt where fraudsters, claiming to be from Landmark Credit Union, were calling members about fraudulent transactions on their debit card and asking for their card number and/or online banking information (UserID/password) to ‘cancel’ these transactions. If you receive a call from someone asking for personal information, hang up immediately and call us directly.

Stay safe and please don't share your personal or bank account information with anyone. As a reminder, Landmark Credit Union will never request secure access codes, debit or credit card information, or your online UserID and password via phone or text message.

If you ever question the legitimacy of a call, hang up and call Landmark Credit Union directly at (217) 442-9005. Don't redial the number from the incoming call.
