Today is a warm one -- perfect day to stop in the air conditioned FSA office to certify acres! We have TWO WEEKS left to report acres to both FSA and your crop insurance agent. July 15 deadline!

As a reminder, wind coverage begins at the 7th leaf stage. To those without wind coverage, tomorrow would be the time to sign-up, if you are concerned.

Ok folks, big heads up for Thursday. A rather intense line of storms is expected to blow through. This could be a high end wind event. This is one of those 80+mph setups. Stay weather aware as we fine tune the forecast.

Small grain RMA yields have been released. Looks like our local wheat producers crushed it in 2025! The remaining RMA yields (corn, beans for example) will be released by mid-June. At that time, we can calculate any possible SCO/ECO payments for 2025.

Reminder - if there may be a need to replant, make sure to alert your agent prior to replanting. Acres must be "released" by an adjuster prior to replanting or indemnities cannot be paid.

Pro Tip: do not wait to call your agent when you are in the field ready to go. Call before this; as soon as you know there is a chance. Replant claims can always be withdrawn if not needed.
