My Father and Godfather got started with the firm in the 1980s and set an incredible example of the positive ability to impact their clients' lives. This example and Edward Jones’ client first, solutions-based approach led me to my own branch in 2013 in Danville, KY. Since then, I have had a community focus and have volunteered within Edward Jones as a mentor, visiting veteran and client solutions
advocate. I was named limited partner with the firm in 2019. I hold my FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, AAMS® designation, and my life, accident and health insurance agent license. As a financial advisor we work to create strategies that work towards specific goals for investors, families, and business owners. These conversations are personalized and address producing income in retirement, the delicate balance between saving for your children's college education and retirement, what happens if long term care is needed, ensuring your family has appropriate amounts of life insurance and passing on your wealth to the next generation or charity. These conversations include coordination with other professionals, including CPAs and estate planning attorneys. My wife, Kat, and I both attended Centre College where I played football and double majored in history and government. After graduation, we both went to the University of Kentucky for grad school. I received a MBA from the Gatton School of Business and Kat, a Master of Science in physician assistant studies. We love Danville and knew it was the perfect place to practice our professions and raise our family. Outside of the office, we spend our time with our two sons (Mack and Henry), friends and family, exercising and cheering on Centre and UK. To set an appointment you can call or stop by my office, or visit www.edwardjones.com/mack-kersey for more information.
