📣 MORTGAGE RATE UPDATE — HERE’S WHERE WE ARE TODAY
There’s been a LOT of noise surrounding interest rates lately — and this week has been no exception.
Mortgage rates have moved higher, and the bond market has been volatile following the latest Federal Reserve meeting. One important reminder: the Fed does NOT directly set mortgage rates. Mortgage rates are driven largely by the bond market and can change quickly based on inflation, economic data and market expectations.
So instead of the headlines, I prefer to show you REAL numbers.

And remember — the rate you see advertised online isn't necessarily the rate YOU qualify for. Loan program, credit score, down payment, property type, occupancy, loan amount and other factors all matter.
