Our 2025 Volunteer of the Year, Terri Guest, CIRMS, CMCA, with the CAI Bay Area & Central Chapter shares her experience at this year’s Advocacy Days. Terri and her group met with 6 legislators and explained several CAI-CLAC sponsored bills and how they impact community associations. Here's what she has to say...

"During Advocacy Day, I put on comfy shoes, teamed up with some amazing people, and walked the halls in Sacramento meeting with legislators and staffers regarding several pending bills. I was tasked with discussing AB 2050, because aging infrastructures have been a hot topic for me for the last several years. It was a good day! Thanks to John Hansen, Stephanie Cook, Gina Fanizzi and George Markle for being an amazing group!"
