Cheney Insurance is proud to be an affiliate of the Lincoln County Council, a part of the Mountains to Shore Board of Realtors.

Recently, Heather McKenna and Maisy O'Brien attended the Council meeting at JR Maxwell's in Bath alongside President-Elect Carmen Reed from our sister company, Newcastle Realty. Unfortunately, we were so busy catching up with familiar faces and building new relationships that we didn't take many photos!

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the strong connections that help our communities thrive. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with so many dedicated professionals and would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Lincoln County Council for all the hard work they do to support our local communities.

Cheney Insurance and Newcastle Realty enjoyed another wonderful Business After Hours event, learning more about the incredible dedication of the staff at the Lincoln County Recovery Community Center and their commitment to helping individuals on the path toward positive and healthy recovery.

It is always uplifting to hear success stories and see how lives can change when people find the support and strength to help themselves. One of the highlights of the evening was hearing from Tori Ambor, Coordinator of the Center, whose personal journey and inspiring story are a true testament to the impact of the program and the hope it provides to so many.

It was also great to connect with fellow community members and continue learning about the people and organizations that make this community such a special place to live and work.

It is important to remember — not only today, but every day — that someone was willing to stand on the front line to defend the rights and freedoms we enjoy today.

The CFG Team enjoyed a beautiful evening at Fisherman’s Wharf in Boothbay Harbor while attending the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce kick-off Business After Hours event.

It was wonderful connecting with fellow community members and learning more about the amazing coastal products featured by host Three Buoys Gifts & Souvenirs.

And once again — we had lucky winners! One raffle winner from Cheney and two from Newcastle went home with some treasured gifts.

Thank you to everyone who attended. We always enjoy these great community events and look forward to the next one!

It was such a great surprise to receive two handwritten thank you notes from students at Lincoln Academy! ✉️

Commercial Lines Agent Heather McKenna recently had the opportunity to speak with two classes, alongside teacher Chris Morse, about the basics of insurance—how it works and why having the right coverage matters.

The students were incredibly respectful and engaged, making the experience that much more rewarding. Receiving these thoughtful notes in the mail was truly appreciated!
