Standard Chartered and Bitwise have rooms full of analysts and they landed on $28 XRP by 2030. Not end of year. 2030.
Here is why the gap between that number and my thesis exists.
Institutional analysts are fiduciaries. Their job is not to be sensational. They price based on previous market cycles, current constraints and traditional projection models. That framework can get you to $28 over four years. It is not wrong within its own assumptions.
But it does not account for the perfect storm scenario. SWIFT instant settlement. DTCC backend via Project Ion. BIS tier one designation. Stock market tokenization. Stablecoin demand stabilizing the bond market. These are not traditional market cycle variables. They are structural shifts that have no historical precedent to model against.
My thesis requires specific catalysts to play out. If they do, $28 dramatically undershoots. If they do not, $28 may be generous.
The conviction gap is not about hype. It is about which framework you are using to build the model.

XRP: The Future Collateral For Global Markets⁉️

Brad Garlinghouse has a picture frame in his office. It says XRP will power the world one day. He has had it there for years.
Once XRP reaches a high stable value and receives BIS tier one asset designation it becomes the collateral backing bonds, derivatives, FX and equities at a global scale. At that point there is no way to disintermediate it. It is central infrastructure, not just an asset class.
Ripple’s stated objective is to make a dent in the universe the way Apple did. XRP sitting as the collateral layer for the entire financial system is what that looks like in practice.

Forget the depression narrative. After the reverse carry trade unwinds and leverage gets cleared out of the system, the conditions are set for something completely different.
AI deployment across the economy drives productivity gains that translate directly into GDP growth and market cap expansion. The efficiencies unlocked at scale are unlike anything we have seen in previous economic cycles. The next 30 years will not look like the last 30.
Short term expect a sharp pullback and a V-shaped recovery. That is the clearing event. What comes after is the bull market most people are too fearful right now to position for.
As AI and algorithmic trading mature, market spreads tighten, gaps compress and quantum computing enables real-time scenario modeling at a level retail investors have never had access to. Eventually everything regresses to mean with far less inefficiency for traders to exploit, which means early positioning matters more than ever.
Markets are not going anywhere. The game just changes completely.

🚨Yen Surges: Bank of Japan insider Hints at Financial Shift⁉️

The yen is back above 162 against the dollar. A Bank of Japan insider with a credible track record just tweeted that Japan has decided what they are going to do and when they are going to do it.
The interventions that have defended the 160 to 162 level are becoming less and less effective. If the yen breaks out from here and climbs fast, the Bank of Japan has to act. That action has major implications for global markets including the US.
A weaker yen means Japan needs to increase the yen’s value to service its debt obligations. The mechanism they use to do that triggers the carry trade unwind that global markets have been bracing for.
