More borrowers can take advantage of the up to $8,000 grant. This can be applied to down payment and closing costs. Not to mention the reduced Mortgage insurance and 3% minimum down payment that comes with a Fannie Mae's HomeReady ( that is lower than FHA min 3.5%)
