Does MY General Liability policy cover my participants?

If your business involves people actively participating in sports, fitness, recreation, or events, this is a coverage you need to understand.

Many General Liability policies have an Athletic or Sports Participants Exclusion, meaning injuries to participants may not be covered.

That’s where Participant Liability Coverage comes in. It can provide coverage for claims brought by participants who are injured during your activities due to things like:

⚠️ Unsafe conditions
👀 Poor supervision
🏋️ Equipment failure
⚖️ Alleged negligence

Bottom line: Spectator coverage ≠ Participant coverage.
