Our Round Rock team was proud to volunteer with the Round Rock Police Department's Step N2 Success program, helping local students head back to school with a new pair of shoes and the confidence that comes with them.

What made the day special wasn't just the shoes. It was seeing neighbors, businesses, nonprofits and community leaders come together to support local families and invest in the next generation.

Texas banking is expanding with Dallas as community banks help businesses access capital and compete in a changing market.

The Susser Bank team just got stronger. Meredith Worley has joined us as Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager, and Conner Heil as Vice President, Relationship Manager on our Dallas Commercial Banking team.

Worley brings more than 15 years of middle-market banking experience working with privately held businesses and business owners across North Texas. Her background includes commercial lending, sponsor lending, asset-based lending and relationship management.

Heil brings nearly a decade of experience spanning commercial banking, credit underwriting and loan review. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with companies across a variety of industries, helping clients navigate financing decisions and opportunities for growth.

Members of our San Antonio team, Olga G Grau Fortoul and Roxanne Huddleston, joined fellow volunteers at Meals on Wheels San Antonio to support homebound neighbors across our community.

The impact of Meals on Wheels extends far beyond a meal. It provides connection, independence and peace of mind for those who rely on these services every day.

On KRLD’s CEO Spotlight with David Johnson, Chairman and CEO Sam L. Susser shared his perspective on recent market activity, community investment and what it takes to build an institution that lasts.

129 leaders from across Susser Bank and three members of our Board came together for our third Quarterly Business Review to discuss where we've been, where we're headed and how we can continue helping our clients, businesses and communities thrive.

Carl Cravens, President and Chief Banking Officer, opened the meeting with a simple but powerful message: performance begins with perspective. Drawing on the importance of attitude and shared purpose, he challenged the team to stay aligned around what matters most. That theme came to life in a memorable kickoff as every team member in the room quite literally rowed together, reflecting the belief that our greatest achievements come when we move forward with unity and intention.

We were pleased to welcome Brooks Igo, Publisher of The Texas Lawbook, and proud to recognize team members whose “above and beyond” contributions make our organization stronger, including Jamie Copen, Vice President, Application Operations, Will Ellert, Senior Vice President, Credit Manager and Araceli Lozano, Senior Vice President, Loan Originations.

Co-chaired by Sam E. Susser and Hayley Bardos, the event brought together young professionals from across Dallas for an evening of conversation, connection and community, with remarks from Jewish Federation CEO Robert French.

Susser Bank was proud to join Henley Capital and Dallas City Council Members Maxie Johnson and Chad West as work began on the former City Inn & Suites property, marking the first step in a major redevelopment effort. We are proud to finance an investment that will improve access to Halperin Park and support the continued growth of the surrounding neighborhood.

As Chairman and CEO Sam L. Susser shared: "At first glance, this may look like a demolition project. It may look like a parking project. But everyone involved understands it’s about much more than that. It’s about creating access to Halperin Park, a remarkable community asset.
