Our team members Jo'Elda Perez, Reiven Velasquez, and Kris Gallegos had a great time connecting with golfers at the West Texas Home Builders Association Golf Tournament, handing out snacks, Vista swag, and spending time with members of the homebuilding community. It was a fantastic day to be out supporting an industry that helps build and strengthen West Texas! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit with our team.

From sweeping floors in a small-town bank in Ralls, Texas, to serving on the board of a $12 billion banking organization, his journey reflects five decades of steady leadership, long-term vision, and lasting impact. As former CEO of Vista Bank and now a member of NBHC’s Board of Directors, Kirk’s influence on Vista, its culture, and the communities we serve continues to shape the future of our organization.

We had a great time hosting our Highland Park High School - Scots Baseball tailgate, grilling up some burgers and hot dogs, enjoying music from our DJ, co****le, Vista merch giveaways, and plenty of community spirit before the game. Thanks to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. We loved getting to celebrate Highland Park baseball together!

Texas keeps rising and Wall Street is taking notice! Recently, NBHC CEO Tim Laney and Executive Vice Chair John D Steinmetz stopped by the Bloomberg Dallas office, where they joined the conversation on why Texas is becoming a financial hub of the country.

Our Lubbock 19th Street team laced up and showed out for the Hub City Bed Run this past Saturday! Teams raced decorated beds on wheels to raise funds for Open Door, providing beds and housing support for neighbors in need right here in our community. Equal parts fun and meaningful, it's exactly the kind of event that reminds us why we love being a part of the Lubbock community.
