Today, we recognize Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and an important chapter in our nation's history.

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when news of emancipation reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a time to reflect on the past, celebrate progress, and honor the ongoing pursuit of equality and opportunity for all.

In observance of Juneteenth, all Neighborhood Credit Union branches will be closed today, June 19. Online and mobile banking services remain available 24/7.
