ENDING 2023 ON A GREAT NOTE
REMINISCE ON MY TIME AT HARVARD KIRKLAND HOUSE, HARVARD UNIVERSITY
Life is a journey. In life, it is good that we choose our battles. Choose appropriately. After six years of practicing nursing full-time, I decided to choose my battles. Equally as important as our life choices are our life results.
As 2023 comes to an end, I am happy to have completed a graduate business economics program at Harvard. I am also happy to be a candidate for a master's degree from Harvard. This picture is a throwback to my time living at Harvard Kirkland House, the same house Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg used to live in during his time at Harvard. While living here, I used to walk past Mark Zukerberg's former room many times a day.
While living here, it was quite surreal to live, go to school, and work within a one-mile radius. It was quicker for me to walk to class or work than to get my car from University Place Garage and drive to class or work. My typical day involves teaching emergency cardiovascular care at the CGM training location in Harvard Miffling Square, receiving classroom lectures at Harvard Center for Government and International Studies, and completing assigned tasks for my other course delivered by Harvard Business School.
During this period, my passion to be a physician and medical educator of some sort met my passion to be a business (finance) operator.
In life, challenges may come; please don't give up. Before this period, I had my fair share of life's ups and downs.
2022 and 2023 are my years of Harvard focus. After all, I was happy to return to the city that made me (H Town).
I am preparing for the future. I look forward to a greater 2024.
Congratulations to me!
