That's the insight our Managing Director of Development, Kyle Russell, breaks down in a recent feature in Texas Real Estate Business and it's one of the most important distinctions being missed in how people read the Texas market right now.

Kyle makes the case that understanding tenant fit within each size category matters just as much as broader market fundamentals. A mid-size 300,000 SF building and a 1 million SF 'bomber' aren't competing for the same tenants and treating them as the same asset class leads to bad decisions.

Our interns recently stepped out of the office and into the field for an immersive tour of The Premier at Prestonwood. Acquired by Westmount Realty Capital, LLC in late 2022, this 208-unit, townhome-style community in North Dallas served as the perfect backdrop for a deep dive into our investment strategy.

The visit provided valuable, hands-on experience in how our team executes value-add and opportunistic investments. With over 40 years of industry expertise, Westmount takes pride in supporting the next generation of real estate leaders.
