Five years ago I took a leap of faith and became a State Farm agent. I was scared, unsure, and filled with imposter syndrome. I dipped my toes in and then life said “jump all the way in.”
I started with zero policies , just faith, a vision, and the willingness to work hard. Thanks to State Farm I was given the opportunity to build something from the ground up ; to serve people, protect families, and grow into a leader I didn’t even know I could be.
Every stranger who took a chance on me, every customer who became family, every team member (past and present) who gave their heart to this mission; you’ve all helped make this dream real.
There were hurdles, highs, and lows that tested everything I believed about myself. But through it all, one thing stayed steady, faith!
Like the song Oceans says “spirit lead me where my trust is without borders”
That’s exactly what this journey has done. It’s stretched me, refined me, and reminded me that courage doesn’t mean you’re not afraid , it means you move anyway.
This business has changed my life ; not just professionally, but personally, spiritually, and emotionally. It’s made me stronger, wiser, and deeply grateful for every single soul that’s walked beside me; my team, my customers, my family (Tony always knew I could do it, and helped me see it for myself) , the community of agents who’ve shared advice and encouragement along the way, and the company that gave me this incredible opportunity!
To Jon Essary - thank you for seeing this in me before I did and to my sales leader, Brad Campbell, thank you for believing in me and standing beside me these last five years.
Here’s to faith over fear.
Here’s to the next chapter.
