LONG POST:
When I lost my Mom last year, I honestly felt like I lost some of my purpose. My siblings and I all grew up watching her become the consummate professional real estate broker. She was my example, my inspiration, my guide, my partner, and my hero. From showing houses and rentals, to coordinating transactions, to conducting joint homebuying consultations and seminars… our businesses and clients intertwined on/off together for many many years.
After May 2024, it just didn’t feel the same. For a moment there, I was seriously considering leaving the industry altogether. While I was praying and considering my next career move, my repeat clients and referrals kept me engaged, and reminded me why I still love real estate, mortgage finance, and helping families.
Ultimately I decided to switch from independent originating to a full time contract with a mortgage lending bank. A year plus a few months later, I’ve been promoted to the role of Loan Processing Manager in Retail Lending! I’m both honored and excited for this next chapter in my career.
Although I am not originating loans myself in this role, I will continue to refer business and I’ll be available to continue offering educational and consulting services to homebuyers. To all my clients and real estate partners, THANK YOU and I am grateful for your support.
As always, if you and/or someone you know needs a mortgage, I’m still here to help!
