These structures now known as the B-Bend Fold-over are utilized for a wide variety of applications including smart cities, pipelines, intelligent transportation systems, agriculture sensing, and environmental sensing applications. The heritage of the GlenMartin brand can be traced backed to 1918 when William Christopher Martin opened his small blacksmith shop just outside Boonville Missouri. Martin inherited the company and relocated from Chicago Illinois to continue growing a tool and die operation. During the mid-'60s and 70's the company began to grow rapidly with the design and development of the Rival Crock-pot. In the early 1980 Glen Martin Engineering, Inc. was opened to begin the advancement of telecommunication structures. Rapid growth in the 90's allowed for expansion outside the US. The company's expanded offering included turnkey construction services and project management. Global growth in the late '90s and early 2000's enabled the company to build a global market presence in over 25 countries. In 2013 GlenMartin relocated their US Headquarters to Addison Texas. GlenMartin maintained an ISO 9001:2008 certification. In 2016 the fabrication division operated under Chouteau Fabricating, Inc. In late 2017 the GlenMartin brand was purchased by Locust8 technologies along with the B-Bend design. GlenMartin's team is built around hard-working people who have a passion for what they do.
