As your local State Farm agent, I love seeing initiatives that help our neighborhoods thrive. Red Nets is restoring community courts across the country because every neighborhood deserves a place where people can gather, play, and connect. 🏀

I love being an agent in Dallas because I get to be part of what's happening around town. Every day, I have the opportunity to support my customers, get involved in the community, and help where I can. Those moments don't always get noticed, but they mean a lot to me. What's something you're quietly proud of?

Throwback Thursday pics 💕

Sadly my landlord from my first office building passed away 😢 I never got any pics with him so I want to share some throwback pics from my time in that beautiful historical building 🥰 It was built in 1908 in the heart of downtown Dallas & originally had The Woolworth store in it. My 93-year old grandmother even took piano lessons in the basement! My landlord bought it in the early 2000s & remodeled it to how pretty she looks today 😍 He did an amazing job restoring it & that building is what drew me to open my agency in downtown Dallas. I fell in love with the history behind it, the gorgeous architecture & being a rare two-story building amongst all of the high rises. It connects Elm St and Main St by its pretty cobblestone path & incredible trees so it feels like an oasis amongst all of the hustle & bustle in downtown Dallas 🥰
In 2008, I reached out to inquire about the office he had for lease above Campisi’s. I was over-the-moon excited when he asked to meet me for lunch. I was 28 years old & never owned a business before so I wasn’t sure what would happen but we had an amazing lunch & he agreed to lease the office space to me 🎉 He then let me write the business insurance on many amazing office buildings he owned & he never once thought anything of me getting underwriters to come help me with all of the applications. He was an amazing person & took a chance on me when a lot of other people thought I had lost my mind to open my agency in downtown Dallas. He was always so nice, encouraging & supportive. I admired him so much! I stayed in that building for 10 years & it was my home-way-from-home 🥰 To all of the dreamers out there- Go for it because you never know when you might find your own Thomas that’s willing to take a chance on you!

In loving memory of Thomas Taylor 💕
