The insurance protection you need can be challenging to find, especially if you are not sure what options are available. Here are some key considerations:

- Do the health care providers, hospitals and pharmacies you prefer fall within the plan’s network?
- What is the amount you must pay out of pocket before your coverage kicks in?
- Are there other costs that you may be required to pay to access care?
- How much will you pay per month for coverage?
- What are the affordable solutions for dental, vision, and other services?
- How and when do you qualify for Medicare?

Visit my website to learn more about how to manage your healthcare, get information about products, download lots of great information about all types of insurance for health, dental, vision, life, and so much more. Children are precious gifts. They need protected, cared for, and kept safe. Have you thought about providing additional coverage for your kids? Although healthcare, dental and vision services account for the majority of children's health needs, additional products should be considered to make sure that if the unthinkable happens, you have a way to compensate for the financial burden of final expenses.

If your child survives to adulthood, as most do, juvenile life insurance that provides peace of mind for the parents allows for the child to maintain insurability once they reach adulthood. As a licensed insurance agent, I can help you find affordable coverage for your kids. Contact me for a conversation about meeting this important personal care need for your family. Life doesn't come with a pause button. Accidents happen. And so do debilitating illnesses. Both of these are significant interruptions in your daily routine. And, if you are a full time worker, you may find yourself in a difficult financial position if your health problem takes you away from your job for several weeks or months.

Some employers offer disability insurance, and that can come at a cost to the employee. Typically, it is offered as a benefit on a short term basis. But what about long term - in excess of 90 days? You could find yourself in a situation that your job only offers a paycheck for a short while, and then it is up to you to find a way to supplement your income when that disappears.

Disability insurance provides income replacement when you are unable to work due to illness or injury, with benefits paid as short-term or long-term disability. Policies typically replace a percentage of your gross income, are offered by employers or through private plans, and may also include government options like Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). The type of disability coverage (e.g., "own occupation" vs. "any occupation") and the length of the benefit period are key considerations when selecting a policy, according to the Insurance Information Institute: https://www.iii.org/article/what-are-types-disability-insurance

As a licensed insurance agent, I have access to various carriers who offer this type of product. It is better to have it in place before you need it, and it can be affordable coverage. Contact me to learn more about how you can protect yourself from financial difficulty if you have a disability that prevents you from working. Let's talk soon.

One of the major issues faced today by retirees is health care - how to pay for it, find the right insurance plan, and having enough extra money on hand to pay for what isn't covered by your policy. Most individuals have some form of Medicare when they turn 65. If you are still working for a company that provides employer sponsored health insurance, you can still be on that plan and not have to worry about signing up for Medicare until you are retired and no longer on your company's plan.

However, what about those health related costs that are not part of what your insurance covers? That can include travel expenses and more as part of what needs to be purchased or paid for if you have an illness that requires you to see specialists or treatment in locations away from your home.

Cancer sometimes mandates you get specialized care, and that can be expensive. It also might mean you have to go to a medical facility in another area, or perhaps even out of state. Other debilitating illnesses such as ALS, Alzheimer's and more severely chronic diagnoses may require home healthcare or full time care in a facility, and then there is hospice care for the terminally ill. These situations can cost additional uncovered expenses that you have to pay out of pocket, or from your savings.

But what happens if you retire before age 65 without healthcare? The government has some options available: https://lnkd.in/ghBSS8Zi

As a certified retirement specialist, one of the questions I ask clients is about their healthcare insurance. Can they afford it in retirement? What about Medicare? Are their financial resources enough to pay for additional costs for medical bills and other expenses?

If you have thought about these questions and need answers, or you just want to know how to prepare for the future, contact me to have that conversation. I look forward to helping you put together a retirement program that provides peace of mind. Let's talk soon.

Protection. Leverage. Savings. Income. Strategic planning. Long term goals. Financial security. What do all of these items have in common? They each and collectively together are benefits of owning life insurance. However, about half of Americans do not have any in place.

According to TruStage, approximately 52% of adults in the United States have some form of life insurance. This means about half of the adult population in the US has life insurance coverage. Despite this, a significant portion, about 41%, believe they are underinsured, indicating a potential gap in coverage for many individuals.

No matter your walk of life in this country, it’s a good idea to cover your dependents and loved ones with a life insurance policy. But, many Americans (42%) hesitate to get life insurance because they believe it costs too much (even though consumers overestimate costs by 3-6 times the actual rates), according to Choice Mutual.

Worse, they might avoid it altogether because of procrastination. Explore key facts to learn more about life insurance as a tool for financial security below. Covering burial and final expenses is the #1 reason that Americans purchase life insurance, with 60% stating it’s important to them. Plus, 64% of women say “paying for burial expenses” is the top reason they have life insurance, compared to 56% of men., And, 23% of Americans only consider life insurance for burial and final expense coverage.

These numbers may sound self-serving as they are reported by life insurance companies. However, this information is gathered by independent third parties who survey random individuals to develop reports used within multiple industries and by the US Government for statistical purposes.

As a licensed agent, let me help you develop the right life insurance program for you and your family. If you are an employer or business owner, let's work together to provide a coverage program for you and your employees. Group policies are especially affordable and often guarantee coverage with no waiting periods.
