Relationships are built over real conversations.

Our Dallas lending team hosted an incredible mixer last night—bringing together the lenders, brokers, and partners who fuel small business growth across Texas. From banks to the SBDC and CDFIs, the room was filled with people committed to getting capital into the hands of entrepreneurs who need it.

It was our final happy hour of the summer, and it was the perfect sendoff. The conversations happening in that room are exactly what drive real lending connections and meaningful partnerships.

The best referrals start with a real conversation.

Our Dallas team brought the Lending Connections Mixer to Houston this month — and our Houston lending team was right there to welcome everyone. The room filled up with the people who keep small businesses moving: lenders from banks across the market, brokers, and partners from the SBDC, CDFIs, and beyond.

The evening was all about building relationships — connecting the people and resources that help local businesses get the capital they need to grow.

When the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders launched its NAGGLNow: In Their Own Words series, they started with someone who's shaped SBA lending for 25+ years: Kendra Vincenty, our EVP of SBA Operations, a former NAGGL board member and two-time Instructor of the Year.

Asked how she approaches lending, Kendra put it simply:

"Do the due diligence. But also be a partner. A partner who is willing to be honest, and in that honesty, bring integrity to what can or cannot be done."

We're proud to have her leading SBA Operations at T Bank. That philosophy is how we work with every small business owner.
