🐈⬛ I don't know if people realize this, but commercial towing insurance is very different from like every other insurance. 😂
You think you buy a nice truck, slap a cat on it and go help people.
WRONG.
There is an entire secret government-level bureaucracy waiting for you.
Truck insurance.
Business insurance.
On-hook insurance.
Cargo.
Certificates.
Additional insureds.
And approximately 37 other things that all sound exactly the same but apparently are VERY DIFFERENT.
And THEN…
Every five minutes, another company emails us:
📧 “Please provide proof of insurance.”
Okay. 👍
📧 “Please add us as an additional insured.”
Okay. 👍
📧 “Can you send an updated certificate with this one microscopic change?”
Okay. 👍
📧 “Actually, can you change it back?”
MA'AM.
Our insurance agent probably sees an email from Black Cat pop up and just whispers:
“What now?”
Meanwhile we're over here like:
“Hi! Sorry! It’s us again! 😊 Could you please make this one teeny tiny change to this certificate so we can go pick up one stranded human being and their extremely unfortunate automobile?”
And then 14 minutes later:
“HI, AGAIN. THEY NEED IT DIFFERENT.”
This is one of those behind-the-scenes parts of running a towing company that nobody really talks about. There is an ABSURD amount of paperwork and insurance requirements involved in being able to work with different companies and networks.

They put up with our endless requests, help us navigate all the little details, answer our questions, and somehow continue responding to our messages without blocking us. 😂
We couldn't do what we do without people behind the scenes who help keep the important stuff handled.
So while we're out here chasing tow calls, changing tires, unlocking cars, delivering fuel, pulling people out of ditches and generally participating in roadside chaos…
