The U.S. housing market will finally turn the corner in 2026, with a double-digit increase in home sales supporting a 4% increase in home prices, according to new predictions from the National Association of Realtors®.

“Next year is really the year that we will see a measurable increase in sales,” Yun said on Friday at a NAR conference in Houston. “Home prices nationwide are in no danger of declining.”

🆕️ A new chapter begins for The Rustic as the popular Texas restaurant and live music venue prepares to relocate from 1836 Polk to 1718 Jackson in downtown Houston. 🏗 The move, prompted by a city construction project, places the restaurant beside the expanded George R. Brown Convention Center and within steps of the Toyota Center.

🎙 The new site will preserve the signature Rustic experience of live music, regional comfort dishes and Texas-sourced drinks, while offering conveniences such as expanded on-site parking and a designated rideshare zone for easier access. Operations at the current space will continue through the end of 2025, with reopening planned for winter 2026.
