Here's a look at some symptoms to watch for — and some that might surprise you:

❤️Chest Pain or Discomfort — Often felt as pressure or tightness, this is the most recognized symptom.

❤️Shortness of Breath — Especially during rest or mild activity, shortness of breath can be an early sign.

❤️Fatigue and Weakness — Unexplained tiredness, even without exertion, could signal that the heart isn't pumping effectively.

❤️Swelling — Swelling in the legs, ankles, or abdomen may indicate heart valve or muscle issues.

❤️Lightheadedness or Dizziness — Feeling dizzy or faint could be a sign of irregular heartbeats or other heart conditions.

❤️Pain in the Neck, Jaw, or Back — These less-obvious pains are especially common in women experiencing a heart attack.
