Your Medicare Advantage plan can change the costs, benefits, drug coverage, pharmacy network, and provider network from year to year. An Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) is a document that your Medicare insurance carrier is required to mail to you in September.
When you receive your ANOC, review it carefully! During Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 through December 7, people with Medicare can make certain changes for the following year.
Before deciding to stay with your current plan, ask:
❓Are my doctors still in the network?
❓Are all my prescriptions still covered?
❓Have my copays, premiums, or maximum out-of-pocket costs changed?
❓Have any additional benefits offered in my Advantage plan changed or been eliminated?
After you've had a chance to review your ANOC, and note which changes are important for your medical or financial needs, schedule an appointment with your local, trusted Messmore Agency Medicare agent. Our annual reviews are *free* and your needs are always our priority!
