Making a difference, one policy holder at a time.

James, one of our Leaders, recently had to jump in the weeds to help one of our clients' new hires make his benefit elections.

The situation took a little finesse in order to get it done. James took the time to help the new policy holder navigate a few riders, in which were able to accomplish a major coverage goal.

We love when we receive feedback from our employers; we love it even more when our policy holders take the time to reach out and express their gratitude.

Just a couple of weeks ago, a carrier that I do a large amount of business with flew me in Louisville, KY with a handful of other rapidly growing leaders

We spent several nights at the Seelbach Hotel. Uniquely, it is where F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote and designed the book "The Great Gatsby". We were also provided a private, behind the scenes tour of Churchill Downs. What an incredible experience.

Recently, we have evaluated several layers of our business with one consistent, overwhelming response. We must continue to grow.

My profession in Employee Benefits brings a roller coaster of emotion.

3 death claims just this week. Usually only a handful a year.

Todays claim came from a local employer. A 73 year old woman lost her 75 year old spouse.

The employer carries a $25,000 term life plan on each employee.

The relief in this spouse's voice is the reason I love my career. She had no idea the employer provided this benefit.

Employers: what are you doing to give back to the employees who give so much to your business?

Adapt and Overcome -- So proud to have Audrey joining our Team!

‼️ If you read nothing else today, read this. ‼️

If you look of the definition of perseverance in the dictionary, Audrey Rountree will appear with it. We are incredibly grateful to have her join our Team!

Audrey retired in 2020, after working 2 jobs for most of her adult life. Audrey was forced to retire after a new medical condition took her eyesight.

When we met Audrey, we learned that she still has a burning desire to serve others and needed help learning how.

If you know anything about obtaining an insurance license, you know its a 40+ hour online course of reading, learning and testing.

Audrey, completely blind, had the shear grit it took to complete this course. She learned while her computer read every pain-staking word out loud to her. She spent 3x the amount of time in front of her computer, determined to complete the course.

She then went almost 2 months with no access to the training material while waiting on the testing center to make the necessary accommodations for her to take her test. She passed, first time!

Audrey has joined URS in order to help paint a picture for others, recognizing the importance of words now.
