🌱 Why We’re Growing 🌱

At Hope Horses, growth is happening because the impact of our program continues to grow.

Right now, we serve 31 riders every week, and we already have 9 students on our waitlist and it continues to grow. Families in our community are seeking the life-changing benefits of therapeutic riding, and we want to be able to say yes to every rider who needs us.

With 5 incredible horses currently serving in our program, our equine partners are working hard to support our riders. As we look to the future, our goal is to grow to 10 horses and serve up to 50 students each week.

Expanding our facility will also allow us to introduce new programs like hippotherapy, veterans services, and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) classes, reaching even more individuals who could benefit from time in the saddle and connection with our horses.

Over the past week, we had the privilege of presenting scholarship awards to our Wallace State Community College scholarship recipients during their school awards programs.

Pictured are several of our recipients alongside some of the representatives from Cullman Savings Bank. Special thanks to Hannah Bailey, Ellen Burns, Elizabeth Miller, Megan Seckfort and Matt Townson for representing the bank and helping celebrate these outstanding students.

Congratulations to all the seniors graduating this year! We are excited to see where your future leads and all that you will accomplish.

As you begin this next chapter, we’ll leave you with these words from Dr. Seuss:

Matt, along with several others from Cullman, attended WellStone’s Beacon of Hope event in Huntsville. They came together to help raise awareness and support for mental healthcare and substance use treatment services across our community and throughout North Alabama.

The goal is simple but powerful: ensuring anyone who needs care has access to quality, compassionate support — anytime, anywhere.
