Our Ag Night VIP Panel is officially SOLD OUT, with the proceeds benefiting the Together We Grow Foundation! Thank you to everyone who secured their spot for this evening of engaging conversations with leaders from across Alabama agriculture.

Meet our panelists!

🌾 Moderator: Marty Graham – Loan Officer with Alabama Farm Credit in Tuscumbia. Marty brings six years of experience with AFC, along with a background in poultry production and managing a 130-head Angus operation in Franklin County.

🚜 Jacob Holsonback – Business owner and full-time farmer from Boaz. Jacob operates Holsonback Farms, focusing on row crop production and bringing more than a decade of hands-on agricultural experience to the discussion.

🐄 Jake Gay – Third-generation farmer from Randolph County and owner of Raybucks Farm Supply in Woodland. Jake is actively involved in cattle production, real estate, and agricultural leadership throughout the state.

📊 Watson Carter – Accountant at Wear Howell in Decatur and a 2024 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a degree in Accounting.

That’s a wrap on the 98th Annual Alabama FFA State Convention!

We enjoyed two great days with Alabama’s future agricultural leaders, from the inflatable bull ride to our photo backdrop and everything in between. One of our favorite parts was reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting the young leaders who are shaping the future of agriculture.

At Alabama Farm Credit, investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders is something we deeply value. Through the Together We Grow Foundation, that mission continues to grow.

Founded by Alabama Farm Credit and our Young Farmers Advisory Committee, TWG works to advance agricultural education opportunities across North Alabama through scholarship support.

This year, the foundation is proud to announce the awarding of 10 Young Roots Scholarships to first-time college students and 1 Cultivating Leader Scholarship to a student continuing their education from a two-year to a four-year institution.

These scholarship recipients have demonstrated strong academic success, leadership, and involvement within their schools and communities.

You can also help support the future of TWG scholarships by attending the Ag Night VIP Panel on June 19! Tickets are $25, and all proceeds benefit the Together We Grow Foundation and future scholarship opportunities.

Last week, some of our Alabama Farm Credit team members stopped by the Colbert County Cattlemen’s last Steak Sandwich Sale for the year and enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces from across the community!

Pictured is our Tuscumbia branch’s Layla Wallace alongside members of Cherokee FFA, who were also helping out at the event. We always enjoy opportunities to connect with local agricultural organizations, students, and producers who help make our communities strong.
