It’s a good Friday when you get to spend time with people who understand what it means to serve agriculture.

Today, our Talladega team stopped by Bannister Tractor to bring lunch, show our support and spend some time with a longtime partner in Alabama agriculture.

Last night, we hosted our young farmers and Ag Night VIP ticket holders for Know Your Numbers: A Financial Education Workshop.

Building on the conversation started during the Ag Night VIP Panel, the workshop focused on balance sheets, financial statements, budgeting and cash vs. accrual accounting, with insights from our team and two accountants from Wear Howell.

This summer, we had the pleasure of welcoming interns, Annalee Allen and Caleb Roe, to Alabama Farm Credit!

Annalee, a Cullman native, is entering her junior year at Auburn University, where she is majoring in agricultural business and accounting. Caleb, who is from Arab, is heading into his senior year at Mississippi State University and is studying finance.

Throughout the summer, Annalee and Caleb had the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, including visits to the Cullman and Albertville branches. We have enjoyed having them on our team this summer and wish them the best as they head back to school!
