🚀 Rocket Mortgage Update

Fed Cuts Rates by 0.25%

Today, the Federal Reserve voted to lower the Fed Funds Rate by 0.25%, bringing the range to 3.5%–3.75%.

What this means for you:
Mortgage rates are drifting slightly lower compared to this morning’s published rates .

The U.S. 10-Year Treasury is down to around 4.14%, which often helps keep mortgage rates in check.

The Fed has now cut rates at three straight meetings.

Markets expect one more 0.25% cut in 2026, possibly in June.

The next Fed meeting is scheduled for January 28th.

My Take:
The Fed is balancing inflation concerns with a cooling job market. For now, they don’t see the need for larger cuts, but upcoming economic data will guide their next moves.

📉 For homeowners and buyers, this environment could mean slightly better mortgage opportunities in the near term.
