UT TSU Extension-Cumberland County Our staff has expertise in a variety of subject matter areas. Our organization has a rich tradition of meeting the needs of the rural community.

UT / TSU Extension serves the citizens of Cumberland County with educational programs in the areas of Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, Community Resource Development, and 4-H Youth Development. We are a combined outreach branch of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension, providing research-based solutions and information to the citizens of Tennessee. The office has a wealth of research-based publications, addressing virtually any issue related to the home or farm. So whether you know the UT/ TSU Extension as the County Agents Office, the 4-H office or the Home Agent’s office, be assured that the staff is available to help answer your questions or direct you to the correct source. Additionally, our role continues to expand in order to meet the challenges facing a more urban audience. All of the services and many of the programs offered by Extension are free to county residents. UT/ TSU Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.

Giving Tuesday Matching Day begins at 8:00 a.m. CT, and donations can go even further through county and state matching funds. A gift could potentially be tripled, meaning a $250 donation could become as much as $750 for Tennessee 4-H! 💚

Your support helps provide meaningful experiences for youth through camps, leadership opportunities, contests, hands-on learning, agriculture programs, and so much more.

Tomorrow, let’s paint Cumberland County GREEN! 🍀

As you head to work, school, or wherever your day takes you, wear GREEN on Monday, October 5 in celebration of National 4-H Week! 💚

Whether you’re a current 4-H member, alumni, volunteer, parent, supporter, or simply a friend of 4-H, wearing green is an easy way to show your support for the young people who are learning, leading, and growing through 4-H.
