What if some of the most valuable financial opportunities available to you aren’t secrets at all—you simply were never taught how they work?
I was incredibly fortunate. I grew up with this knowledge.
My father, James J. Schrantz, was one of the smartest financial minds I have ever known. He and his partner, Sam Crino, founded Schrantz & Crino, a public accounting firm in Western New York.
By the time my three brothers and I were growing up, Dad had built a thriving accounting practice. Business owners sought him out because he understood business, taxes and financial strategy.
But his greatest influence on me happened at home.
From the time I was a little boy, I was exposed to conversations about business ownership, taxes, investing, debt, cash flow and building financial security.
I didn’t realize then what an extraordinary education I was receiving.
I started my first business at 17, and more than four decades later, much of what my father taught me still shapes how I think about money today.
The laws change. Markets change. Technology changes. Employers change.
The fundamentals don’t.
Most of us still face two enormous financial questions:
How do I get out of debt faster?
How do I accumulate and protect enough money for retirement?
That’s where financial education matters.
There are established strategies designed to help people understand and manage their cash flow more efficiently, attack debt strategically, prepare for retirement and protect the people they love.
And this is where United Financial Freedom (UFF) fits into what I do.
UFF provides financial education and technology designed to help people better understand the movement of their money and evaluate strategies for accelerating debt repayment and building greater financial efficiency.
If you’ve ever looked at your mortgage, car loans, credit cards or other debt and wondered:
“There has to be a smarter way to do this.”
That’s exactly the conversation I want to have with you.
I was blessed to have a father who began teaching me these principles when I was a little boy.
Today, I get to pass that education along to other families.
