Crockett Insurance has been locally owned and operated since 1947 when Henry Ellis and Phil McClain joined forces to bring the best in insurance protection to Houston County. Jay Lankford joined the agency as a partner in 1971. Don Jones came on as a junior partner in 1973. Don worked his way up,

purchasing the business from the senior partners over the years. A few years ago, Don collaborated with his son Carlton Jones, and together the father and son team provides some of the best protection and support available to area residents and business owners. Carlton and Don are independent insurance agents, which gives them the ability to shop various insurance brokers to develop a plan that best suits each person’s insurance needs regardless of budget or lifestyle.
