Today some of our team wore their new credit union logo t-shirts, a symbol of our brand and what it means to live the credit union culture every day. The logo isn’t just ink on fabric—it represents our commitment to people helping people, cooperative teamwork, and putting members first. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just a member; you’re part of a community that grows together, supports one another, and builds financial well-being with integrity and trust.

We are proud to wear the logo of our story….

At the bottom of the logo is a stack of books which represents our roots in education. The Okaloosa County Teachers Federal Credit Union was founded in education in 1960 to serve the Okaloosa County School Board, Okaloosa Walton Junior College and St. Mary’s Catholic School.

The tree on top of the books represents growth. Since 1960, we have grown to five branch locations, (Crestview, Niceville, FWB, Baker, and Laurel Hill) 34 employees, 9,000 members and $133 million in assets and continuing to grow every day, serving all of Okaloosa County.

The little person in the middle of the tree with open arms represents the open arms we have for our members and community. It’s an easy reminder that all Okaloosa County residents are eligible for membership.

We had the honor of supporting Baker Senior Field Day today. We didn’t just show up to offer financial services—we treated the event with delicious pizza and cheered on the seniors as they approach graduation. We believe it’s just as important to show them you’ll stand by them with wise financial guidance as an adult, as it is to cheer them on during the final days of their senior year.

These words resonated deeply with Laurel Hill branch Supervisor, Nikki Martin, and Marketing Director, Shea Boykin, as they stepped into Baker School, their former stomping ground, to celebrate the extraordinary teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. As they walked through the familiar halls, memories of inspirational teachers flooded their minds, a big difference to the volunteers they are today, rather than students.
