🌾 Celebrate Ag 2026 🌾

What a great evening celebrating agriculture and rural communities! Union County Farm Bureau hosted Celebrate Ag on Saturday, January 31, at the beautiful Legacy Venue, thanks to Brad and Terri VanGelder.

We enjoyed a delicious free meal prepared by Nate Haley and welcomed community members from Union County, Clarke, Adams, and Ringgold counties.

We were honored to have IFBF President Brent Johnson, who shared the history of Farm Bureau, and IFBF Vice President Brian Feldpausch in attendance. The highlight of the night was keynote speaker Amanda Radke, whose message “The Heart of Rural America” inspired us all with stories of community, agriculture, family farms, and investing in the future of rural America.

Thank you to Dustin Baird for the music to wrap up the evening and to the Creston FFA members for volunteering their time to help with cleanup.

We are grateful for everyone who joined us to celebrate agriculture and the people who make rural Iowa strong! 💚🚜

Union County was well represented at the Iowa Farm Bureau Young Farmer Conference in Des Moines! 🌽🚜

Andrew Hribal, Casey Allen, and Lauren Hadley attended the January 23–24 conference, joining young farmers from across Iowa for two days of learning, networking, and inspiration. From engaging keynote speakers to breakout sessions focused on farm, family, and the future, the conference offered valuable takeaways and opportunities to connect with peers in agriculture.
