Today, we celebrate the hardworking men and women who dedicate their lives to feeding our families, caring for our land, and keeping agriculture strong. From early mornings to long nights in the field, farmers work tirelessly to provide for our communities and keep food on our tables.

Agriculture is more than a job — it’s a way of life, built on hard work, dedication, and generations of tradition. ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible agriculture teachers who go above and beyond to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders!

A special shoutout to Mrs. Bailey, Mr. Erlbacher, and Mr. Cooley, our Union County AG teachers!👏🌾

Thank you for bringing agriculture to life in the classroom and giving students hands-on opportunities to learn about the many pathways and possibilities within agriculture. From the classroom to the shop, the greenhouse, the livestock barn, and beyond, your impact reaches far beyond the school walls.

🌾 Union County Farm Bureau is proud to highlight Rusty Zimmerman, Union County’s voting delegate, for his participation in the Iowa Farm Bureau Summer Policy Conference!

Rusty joined fellow Farm Bureau delegates from across Iowa for two days of meaningful conversations, policy discussions, and collaboration focused on the future of Iowa agriculture.

As a voting delegate, Rusty plays an important role in reviewing policy recommendations and helping shape the priorities that guide Iowa Farm Bureau. The Summer Policy Conference is a key step in the grassroots policy development process, ensuring farmers and rural communities have a strong voice in the policies that impact them.

We’re grateful for Rusty’s commitment to representing Union County and Iowa agriculture! 🌽🚜

Currently serving as the 6–12 Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor at Lenox Community Schools, Casey is in her fifth year of teaching—and all five years have been in Lenox.

Casey feels incredibly fortunate to have started her teaching career at Lenox and has loved every year. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is helping students discover the many opportunities available in agriculture. Whether students pursue a career in the industry or simply gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for where their food, fiber, and other agricultural products come from, she takes pride in helping grow the next generation of agricultural leaders. 🌱🐄🚜

We are grateful for educators who bring agriculture into the classroom and help students see the many possibilities within this important industry! Thank you, Casey, for serving Union County Farm Bureau!💚
