The Vault is now officially owned by the 501(c)(3) organization, The Vault Initiative!

What this means: Donations are now tax-deductible! And we will be eligible for more funding opportunities!

We could really use your help as the estimated cost for completing the main floor renovation alone is over $250,000! (Over $200,000 has already been spent to get the building to its current stabilized state!)

If you are interested in donating, or volunteering your time, please message us here! Every bit helps, and we are so thankful to those who have already donated before the non-profit even existed! This project wouldn't be possible without your support!

We will continue to make tiles for new donations if folks are interested, and all tiles that have already been made will be displayed in the building when it is finished.

Stay tuned as we finalize the uses and floorplans, apply for grants, and hopefully get some progress happening again!

Thank you!! ❤️

The front entrance stucco is complete!

I had quite a few people ask after I posted the first round of stucco photos to show more of the process and explain it, so, briefly:

1. Thicker coat of "base coat" (grey) to smooth the wall and provide structure/shape.
2. A thin coat of "finish coat" (white).

Thank you! ❤️

First off, my apologies for the long pause! This has been a very slow process trying to do the majority of the work myself on weekends, and I am still trying to find some help with funding to be able to finish this. Thank you all for your continuous support, encouragement, and excitement!

I started the process of restoring the arched plaster ceilings above the main entrance. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to finish the brick wall, but 800 pounds of stucco later, it’s a big improvement!
