Good afternoon residents!

Please join the Harrison Township Police Department and the Tarentum Borough Police Department for our presentation on Skimming, Scams, and Cons.

This year we will be running our Presentation at the First United Presbyterian Church of Tarentum located at 913 Lock Street, Tarentum PA 15084 starting at 6PM. They are graciously hosting us this year and providing light refreshments. The building is Handicap Accessible.

Tarentum Borough Police Department & K-9 Unit will be assisting us this year as this is the first time we are presenting outside of Harrison Township. We created this presentation in 2024 and have had around 150 residents attend.

We will discuss: Credit Card Skimming and the Roadmap to Crime, Grandparent Scams & Holiday Scams, The Dark Web & Data Breaches, Identity Theft & How to protect yourself, and a quiz from "BANKS NEVER ASK THAT" to test your knowledge at the end! Come in for a chance to ask our local police officers your questions about Fraud! You will get to go hands-on with a credit card skimming machine as well.

PPG & Associates Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative (MSR) to work at our office in Creighton PA. The credit union is seeking someone with good interpersonal, customer service, and cash management skills. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet members and/or visitors to the office and answer phones.
• Perform routine teller transactions and open new accounts.
• Interact with membership to advise on credit union loan and deposit products that match their financial need and augment their dealings with the credit union.
• Support members with online services such as online banking, debit & credit cards, bill pay, etc.

The qualified high school graduate will present a professional appearance and must be bondable. One to two years of experience in cash handling, customer service or related area preferred but we will train the right candidate. Intermediate clerical/math skills and ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook are also necessary for basic job functioning.
Credit union hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position requires hours of Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM
