I keep hearing ads for Ethos Life Insurance and I think to myself, “Let’s check into this.” After some due diligence, they’re not a bad company but, they’re only contracted with a few carriers that aren’t the best available. You deserve the best options you can get. I run contracts with the cream of the crop in the life insurance industry: Mutual of Omaha, Royal Neighbors, Foresters Financial, TransAmerica, Americo, Aetna, Liberty Bankers Life, American Amlicable, CFG, United Home Life, AIG, Great Western, Prosperity Life Group, and others! If a brokerage firm or an agent of a brokerage firm doesn’t offer these for day 1 coverage then, they’re not offering you the very best, which is what you should be offered. Know your options! Part of my job is to educate clients. Once we discuss their goals for the future, I recommend the best option for them. Some life insurance policies can be used for retirement. Some can be used for income replacement if something happens to a parent. Some can be used to pay off a mortgage or other assets if something happens. Being in the life insurance industry, you do not understand how many people I come across who think they have a certain AMOUNT of final expense or a certain TYPE.
