🏔️ MORTGAGES & ADVENTURES — DAY 2 🏔️

Day 2 is officially in the books, and we covered some serious Colorado ground!

🛻 Cinnamon Pass ✅
⛰️ California Pass ✅
🏔️ Hurricane Pass ✅
🏕️ Camp set up ✅
🐻 Bear encounter… ALSO CHECK. 😂

After an incredible day running some of the best trails in the San Juans, we settled into camp thinking the adventure was over for the night.

Apparently, nobody told the bear. 🐻

Our overnight visitor decided the Trasharoo was actually a bear piñata, absolutely destroyed it, and helped himself to the scraps. 😂

No injuries. No major damage. Just one very satisfied Colorado bear and one Trasharoo that will not be making the trip home.

🏔️ MORTGAGES & ADVENTURES — DAY 1 COMPLETE! 🚙💨

The adventure is officially underway!

We made the run from Elbert to Gunnison and stumbled onto an absolutely killer camp spot for the night. The landscape looked like we had landed on Mars — rocks, wide-open country, mountain views and not another soul around. Exactly how we like it. 🤘

Fat Amy is loaded down and doing what she does best. 🖤

Next stop ➡️ Montrose to pick up the rest of the crew, then we’re pointing the trucks toward Lake City for a few days of fishing, camping, trails and whatever trouble we can find along the way. 🎣⛺️🍻

Day 1 is in the books. The real adventure starts now.

We’re off on another Mortgages & Adventure series, and this time we’re headed deep into the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado! 🌲⛰️

We’ve got a great crew joining us for this adventure — some veterans, some first-timers — and trust me, you’ll be hearing from all of them along the way. 😂

The plan? Mountain trails, camping, fishing, incredible scenery, a few cold drinks around the fire, and whatever else the San Juans decide to throw at us.
