Please join me in congratulating Catalytic Fund Director of Real Estate Research and Underwriting, Travis Gysegem, on earning his MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati. Travis accomplished this (with a 4.0 GPA) while working full time at the Catalytic Fund. We are so fortunate to work with such a talented and hard working professional. He has made a real difference at the Catalytic Fund and is a huge reason for our ability to execute challenging projects.

This week, the Catalytic Fund along with regional leaders announced the launch of the NKY Housing Fund which will support housing development in NKY. We are very appreciative of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation's lead investment of $1M for lending capital plus $500,000 in operating support through GCF's Haile Foundation Fund. Also, our wonderful partner, the Horizon Community Foundation will be offering the NKY Home for All Fund, a vehicle for its donors to support this initiative.

The Catalytic Fund was very happy to support Habitat for Humanity's Pope Leo Village project in Covington with a construction loan. Although Pope Leo couldn't make it to the very rainy groundbreaking today, we were fortunate that Bishop Iffert could come in his stead. It was also great to see the young volunteers from St. X High and a gift presentation from the Habitat Young Professionals Board. We are also very grateful to Mayor Ron Washington who was there to speak, for his support for good housing for all in Covington and the philanthropic support from our partners at the RC Durr Foundation and the Butler Foundation.

We were very happy to support AM Titan's Carnegie Flats project with a Historic Tax Credit Bridge loan and even happier to learn that the project was fully leased before the ribbon was even cut today. We had a great crowd for our Catalytic Fund 100 Projects celebration! It was great to see so many friends there. We honored our outgoing Board Chairman, Chuck Scheper and welcomed our new Board Chairman, Bernie McKay plus celebrated the work of our wonderful Catalytic Developers. Thank you Representative Dietz for rushing back from Frankfort to make your proclamations.

We are so excited to share that our Director of Real Estate Research and Underwriting, Travis Gysegem, was awarded the Non-profit Staff MVP of the year by the Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky at their annual symposium! He is indeed an MVP not just for the Catalytic Fund but for our entire region!

I couldn't be happier about our new Catalytic Fund Board Chairman and thankfully our founding Chairman will remain an active Board member. We have been so fortunate to have had such excellent leadership under Chuck Scheper and now that will continue on with Bernie McKay!
